As a business our emphasis is on quality work, carried out with the best materials for the situation. The materials and techniques used are mainly traditional but can also utilise the recent advances in conservation materials such as glass fibre and resin fixing. Our aim is to produce work which is aesthetically balanced and that will stand the test of time.

The majority of our work is repair and maintenance of listed and period properties. We also undertake standard conventional work, such as dry-lining and gypsum plastering, but with an emphasis on producing a neat and well finished product.

Whilst a small business, we can call upon skilled and rated crafts people in additional trades if the project requires it.

We also offer a consultation service, for those times when a visit to quote for work can turn into a more involved and client directed session.

Currently many people are taking it upon themselves to do work that they may previously have handed to a skilled crafts or tradesperson. Sometimes this can be a false economy. For example, if you have got out of your depth in redecorating an old property we can sometimes offer a simple and cost effective consultation which will allow you to continue with a sound knowledge of the best materials and techniques to use. Consultations by agreement are charged at 24 ph but could save you a great deal of time and effort in the long run.
